I wonder if he'll talk about Bond... considering he doesn't consider it an autobiography and all....

[lets out sigh] What is Seans game here? 'Being a Scot'. A nationalistic angle? Are we going to see him push his opinions on Scottish nationalism out there? Who cares what a Spanish tax exile thinks?

I'd love to hear what he says about Bond particulary about his relationship with Cubby and Harry but I dont want the rantings of a man with a chip on his shoulder. Actors an politics should keep well away from each other.

This man used to be a hero of mine, now he is just an irritation.

I think Rogers autobiography will be a pleasure and I'd be surprised if he had any axes to grind..

I believe the publishers have also just revealed the subtitle of "Being a Scot".

It's "Means Living Abroad".

that only applies to delusional actors... for example, Roger Moore's opinions on politics would be welcome. But I agree, about Connery...

Not sure about that. We'll see what happens.

Well I'm sure both will sell loads (by the standards of these sort of things anyway). I suppose Connery's "Scot" angle could be too esoteric for some potential buyers.

I'm not even sure why some sites are turning this into a "battle" between Connery and Moore. If anything, it's a good thing. cool.gif thumbup.gif

I'm looking forward to both.

So am I - I only used the "battle" angle in the topic title because that's how the books are being refered to by the book trade, which is always a good selling angle, and it gets noticed.

Oh, yes, I was referring specifically to The Bookseller with my above comments. smile.gif

True. The "battle of the Bonds" does seem to often be an attention grabber.
