Gmür explained this in one of the many videos circulating around in German media: If for example the director gets the idea to use some more policemen as extras in the scene, they must be able to react within seconds. That's why they need it for,

I guessed that that is what would happen for the Tosca scene. I wish it could have just been some subtle tailing though. Still, this is a big Bond flick so I guess one has to expect something more in your face. As long as there aren't explosions in the scene. I hope we atleast see a good 60 seconds footage of the opera. Doesn't has to be all at once. Bond films aren't just about action but culture aswell.

Look at our director. I don't think we have to worry about artistic culture being mixed in this movie.

Look at our director. I don't think we have to worry about artistic culture being mixed in this movie. Bond driving a Volvo? Will it be silver? Maybe? He could drive the "new" V70/XC70 or a XC60 perhaps? The new XC60 arrives in the showrooms in august. Don`t forget that Volvo is a part of Ford. For Green is a "new" supercharged XF in order. The new Jaguar. ![]() Voor Nederlandse Bondfans; James Bond Nederland

Is it actually known if Bond drives the Volvo or whether he just arrives at the Opera in one? A Volvo taxi? ![]() "Who the hell do they think they are? I report to the Prime Minister and even he's smart enough not to ask me what we do. Have you ever seen such a bunch of self-righteous, azz-covering prigs? They don't care what we do; they care what we get photographed doing. And how the hell could Bond be so stupid? I give him double-O status and he celebrates by shooting up an embassy. Is the man deranged? And where the hell is he? In the old days if an agent did something that embarrassing he'd have a good sense to defect. Christ, I miss the Cold War." - M
