Interesting news in there, but not much that we didn't already know before. Too bad they didn't release the title of the film (assuming that they've decided on it, of course).

True, it does seem that they're struggling on a title. Only real "new" news I suppose is the confirmation of Amalric and Kurylenko's character names as Dominic Greene and Camille respectively.

Agreed. It does seem as though they're struggling on a title. Hopefully they'll come up with one soon, although it wouldn't surprise me if we had to wait a while for it.

WOO HOO!! Thanks Vauxhall for posting this press release.. Too bad we don't have a title yet, but there is plenty of tidbits to keep us satisfied till it gets chose. I REALLY like that Mathieu Amalric's character name is Dominic Green.. (I agree that its much better than Maurice Green) and Camille sounds like a great name for Olga's character..

Pop the champagne corks, its time to celebrate the commencement of Bond 22!! thumbup.gif biggrin.gif

I know it has been debated, but it seems as though Neal Purvis and Robert Wade will indeed retain their writing credits.

I also wonder whether the addition of the 'e' at the end of Greene is to stop the colour-coding theory about the mysterious organisation...

Who says they are struggling with a title? I think this is an extremely encouraging release as it confirms not only that they are continuing down the European line, but also not pandering to the audience who still expect the next Bond film to be THE SPY WHO LOVED ME XXIV. Gone are the days of double entendre character names and death, kill and spy as comic book villain names.

Why are so many fans so hot and bothered about the title? There could be a miriad of reasons why the title has not been announced. One being various promotion deals may still need rubber stamped, the writers strike has no doubt changed things a bit (announcing a title suggested by a writer could be seen as crass and even breaking intellectual picket lines) and - most importantly - it may not be anyone's business to know what the title is. It may be kept back for very good reason.

Just be glad Daniel Craig is returning as James Bond 007 and Eon Productions have got into their stride with the franchise in a way never seen before.
