ComingSoon.net and The Hollywood Reporter have received confirmation from EON and Danjaq over the previously rumoured news that Gemma Arterton would appear in BOND 22. Her character has been named only as "Fields", but a representative from Danjaq has commented that it is a "nice sized role". This post has been edited by Mister Asterix: 7 January 2008 - 17:40 |

Fields? Gosh, I even like more the name Jinx. Or it has to be a very good reason for it.

Just based off the name, I think she'll work for MI6 in some fashion. Probably a "Nicky Parsons" character who'll provide support back from the HQ or in the field.
i.e., what Moneypenny should have evolved into. This post has been edited by Fro: 5 January 2008 - 00:50 |

I'm really loving the names we're getting so far. Fields. I like it. It's unique (especially if it's a first name) without being self-conscience or silly. It's just this side of real. I can already smell Bondian sophistication in this script.

A non-entity name like that reeks of "minor MI6 staff member" Do you mean a field operative? You just beat me to it! Field Operative Fields perhaps... First of all they thought she was a bit too green for the job. However, they soon discovered she was a plant. |
