At first I was disappointed to hear this was going to be a hardcover because I love how the German paperbacks look on the shelf. But judging from the image, it may still look fine. Thanks for the scoop, stromberg.

From what I know, this one will have the same size as the other German YBs, so it'll be a better fit on the shelf, unlike the UK 'Hurricane Gold', which is a bit bigger and looks a bit awkward next to the other ones.
I doubt that it'll look as yellow as in the image, more like the UK edition. The one in the pic is just a mock up for printing purposes.  ~Mr. Stromberg is a very busy man. Blame Daniel Craig for it.~ ------------------- Daniel Craig IS James Bond. ------------------- |

Added a better picture. The original one was a photo I took from their catalogue due to lack of a scanner on the weekend. The new ones are proper scans.

Ooooo...even better.
I love these editions. These are the YB books I have on display in my living room with my DVDs. They look great as a set and I like that "James Bond" is very prominent on the spines. I also like that, for the first two books, they used an author pic of Charlie that I took. Time to pre-order. |
