Oh man, I like the sound of this! Especially as it includes Young Bond and Moneypenny and, presumably, Amis Gardner Benson?
Hopefully there will be a book connected to this exhibit. ![]() |

Oh man, I like the sound of this! Especially as it includes Young Bond... The awkwardness of Double or Die: "And over here.. a skull. It's.. a skull.. but it's .. shiny. And .. by itself. Lots of red. This cover just screams... uhh .. skull.. Okay.. moving on..." (oh no, I will rag on this cover to the end of my days) ![]() ![]() |

Hopefully there will be a book connected to this exhibit. That would be tremendous if it happens! The awkwardness of Double or Die: "And over here.. a skull. It's.. a skull.. but it's .. shiny. And .. by itself. Lots of red. This cover just screams... uhh .. skull.. Okay.. moving on..." (oh no, I will rag on this cover to the end of my days) Seems right in line with the UK covers for SilverFin and BloodFever to me. Although I do vastly prefer the US hardcover artwork for DoD. One of the extremely rare exceptions where the US cover is better than the UK. ![]() |

Hopefully there will be a book connected to this exhibit. That would be tremendous if it happens! Agreed! Would nicely compliment the exhibit as is the case with the other Fleming exhibit and accompanying book next year. ![]() |

Am I reading too much into the fact that this new website only refers to Young Bond 5 as "the fifth installment" instead of "the final installment"?
Probably. ![]() |

Am I reading too much into the fact that this new website only refers to Young Bond 5 as "the fifth installment" instead of "the final installment"? Probably. Still won't keep Bond fans from discussing those "what if..." possibilities... It certainly keeps their options open more rather than immediately labeling it the final instalment. ![]() |

Am I reading too much into the fact that this new website only refers to Young Bond 5 as "the fifth installment" instead of "the final installment"? Probably. Probably, however, I think with Hurricane Gold it's safe to assume that pre-Casino Royale will continue or at least Higson is keeping that avenue open for either himself or another writer. It's not so much "Will they" in my opinion, but "When will they". ![]() ![]() |

Interesting mention made that the "Diamond Smugglers" and "Thrilling Cities" are also due for a new reprint in the centenary year. I'm still hoping that one day all of Ian's journalistic work and/or correspondence will be released in one volume. ![]() |
