Like the first two entries, not sure about the last one though. There are better themes to pick.

Bah?

The CR67 soundtracks is better than some of the "official" soundtracks (especially the non-Barry stuff), and "The Look of Love" in particular, which is highly acclaimed among critics and counts almost as a standard. There aren't many Bond songs that get covered as much as "The Look of Love".

A well deserved honour - for all three songs.

~Mr. Stromberg is a very busy man. Blame Daniel Craig for it.~

Well, I'm not too sure what the 3rd one is to be honest. The first two are good entries though.

If there's one thing that film has going for it, it's the music: http://commanderbond.net/article/4708

by "bah" I meant more in terms of in comparison to the first 2...

... honestly, the film was so bad, I never payed any attention to the music... having listened to the soundtrack, it did nothing but remind of "The Pink Panther" score by Henri Mancini. I'm not saying it's bad music, I actually rather like it... I just never found it Bondian.

It's a song from Casino Royale(1967)
It's rather well known and was even nominated for an oscar.

Seems odd that this is the first Bond music to be inducted. I would have thought this would have happened sooner, at least for the James Bond Theme. Well, better late than never. wink.gif At least they picked three good songs.

I think The Look of Love doesn't fit in CR since the rest of the score (and film) were so silly.

And does mean Monty Norman will be suing? biggrin.gif

Glad to see the James Bond Theme recognized along with GF, and The Look of Love is a terrific song that happens to be in a disatrous film...

But today is the thirteenth...
