I liked this bit of the article.

Even if there is to be no video message or whatever, I still think that the fact she will be referred to (through photos, her boyfriend, etc.) is important in terms of trying to improve the continuity of the movies. The producers obviously recognise the opportunity they have following the reboot, and intend to take advantage of this.

Fair enough. I just hope they don't get too much into coninuity. I think that would do more harm than good. Bond films have always worked well as standalone adventures.

I think that it can go both ways. Look at most of the 60s films. Although the stories were basically standalones, they reflected Bond's growing attention to the SPECTRE organization.

I never believed the video message thing. It was just such a hacky idea.

I like Craig's quote about trying to make the movie like Dr No or FRWL - this sounds great to me.

Also, Eva Green is right when talking about how big Casino Royale was in England.

This was indeed a fantastic article. She's definitely going to be a tough Bond girl to follow up.

Yes, she will be tough to follow, especially if we're going to be reminded of her in the plot, and through a photograph.

I think Bond should have 2 women in Bond 22, neither of whom means that much to him.

I mean, after a break-up, you've got to play around a bit, haven't you?

It appears that there may be even more than that: http://commanderbond.net/article/4650

But are we going to see flashbacks made from unused footage?. The article mentions Eva Green will not appear, but will Vesper?.

Just adding some extra peppery speculation. biggrin.gif
