I can't wait to see the cover artwork. I have to say, the newest Penguin paperbacks are my favorite of all the covers I've seen. Very bold and colorful, but with a retro feel.

Here's hoping these new covers are a homerun, too.

(Maybe some illustrations inside, too?)

Numbers 4 and 5 were Mr and Mrs Du Pont, rich-looking and might or might not have some of the real Du Pont money behind them. Bond guessed they would be stayers. They both had a business-like look about them and were talking together easily and cheerfully as if they felt very much at home at the big game. Bond was quite happy to have them next to him...

I sincerely doubt we'll see any illustrations besides the usual Fleming portrait, but I really hoping for some fantastic covers.

They set a very high bar with Roseanne Serra and Richie Fahey's recent retro cover designs.

I think they may use the original hardcovers covers this time...

I think they should go with the new French LALD style of cover. I love the outline of Bond drawn in just lines and angles, no curves at all.

Reprint the other authors too now huh?

I anxiously clicked the links to Amazon hoping to see the cover art but, alas, nothing was found. frown.gif I do like the current paperback cover designs so something along those lines would be great.

God forbid! As lifeless and drab as those covers are, the mere comparison to the latest Penguin paperbacks makes it only more pronounced.

Those French atrocities are to the Richie Fahey covers as the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is to the Sistine Chapel.

It doesn't look too likely. huh.gif

So judging by the current (and horrific) currency exchange at the moment between the pound and the dollar, these books will each cost about $31 for US fans.

Well I live in Canada so even though our dollar is finally above the U.S', it's still too rich for my blood. Perhaps they'll come to their senses and realize the strong fanbase here in Canada and the U.S

Whatever covers they choose I hope they'll be made available to download as hi-rez images as part of the whole centenary celebration.
