cool! always nice to hear from any Bond composer... I look forward to hearing what he'll do for Bond 22 (although I have a funny feeling I can predict it anyway)

Agreed. This is a phenomenal interview, I could listen to David talk about Bond music all day. There are few other creative personalities in cinematic (or television) franchises today who so perfectly and admirably understand the universe and the property they are working with. David could score these things clear through Bond 30 and I wouldn't blink an eye.
My favourite part is his best point, the one I constantly seem to make in defense of his later Brosnan scores: "Each score is design to compliment the film it's playing over." (paraphrased). So right. I'm not saying the man's immune from criticism, but good lord...who else can anyone see REALLY doing as good of a job in the role? ![]() -------------------------------------------------------
"I need $1500". "Why?" "No reason." |

..and as much as some like to dislike his music, NOBODY can deny his passion for it...
