Cars of The Stars Motor Museum is well worth the entrance fee. I visited in 1993 and 1996 (and supplied reports for the various Bond fan mags of the time - can't remember which mags published them now) and am well overdue another visit, in fact I keep getting reminded that I am due up there again.

Although the link mentions that CoTS were at Memorabelia, I think that this was more a case of mis-interpretation by the organisers as I met the gent who owned said cars there, and it was not Peter Nelson (CoTS owner).

As I said, well worth a visit and the Lake District is a beautiful place to spend some time wandering around too.

Couldn't agree more - I've been several times and enjoyed each visit as different Bond vehicles were on show. The only snag is that you can't take photos - but I can't really blame him for that.

Reality leaves a lot to the imagination.

Hilarious place- a little garage in a sweet little town in the Lake District full of cars everyone in the world knows. When we went it was pretty empty and the lovely lady let us sit in any car we wanted; my mate was over the moon about getting to sit in Mad Max's car (the actual original one; in a garage in the Lake District! smile.gif ) and I couldn't think of anything so I sat in a General Lee (although I kicked myself for not getting in KITT!). Excellent stuff.
He's got the Batmobiles too! The 60's one, Michael Keaton's one (the best, natch) and Kilmer's one. Amazing!
