good move, because it wouldn't be a good idea to use the location from CR... that was the Star Wars location, and thus is instantly recognizable from a distance..

Looks like this confirms the "2 minutes after CR" rumor.

Beautiful location, too. Hope they use it to its full potential.

Apparently the villa itself has it's own helipad and that seems to gel with rumours I've heard before that the pre-titles sequence features some helicopter action.
I just hope they keep it a nice, tight sequence like CR rather than the rambling mini-movies we got during the Brozza era.

I haven't heard that rumor. but I agree with you. I think some full blown pts will just start the whole "trying to outdo the last one thing" again instead of letting the story direct the pts

nice point

Interesting that they seem to be blending the two real locations of Lake Como and Lake Garda. A beautiful part of the world for sure. Really interested to see how this turns out.

Having this location may help "distance" Mr. White's villa from Bond's convalescent facility.

I've always thought the proximity was just too pat and convenience, but it was obviously a production cost-saver to shoot the two locations in the same vicinity.

Isn't that where Clooney lives? Or is that Lake Como?

Anyway, you heard it here first, Clooney is going to be the villain in Bond 22. wink.gif

George Clooney would be a good villain, but it probably goes against conventional 007 movie making wisdom, whereby they tend to avoid big "named" actors in favor of other lesser knowns.

Ooh, Lake Garda... hey, we may get to see some rambling fist action in the water! Hearkens back to the days of OHMSS, of all things. wink.gif

You heard it here first, folks: Fistfight on the Shores of Lake Garda. cool.gif
