Well, of course they're going to republish it; they always publish new editions of books I already have. biggrin.gif

The neat thing about Joe Cocker and Steve Miller is that they both
start with J, except Steve Miller.

Not surprising news but it will be fun to read it to my son.

Is there any news on rereleases of the Bond books? They've released a number of versions over the past few year's so it will be interesting to see how they go about rereleasing the books. It would have to be something pretty special to entice fans who have copies of the older books to buy some more.

I was wondering the same thing as I was writing this story.

In fact, I'd be really surprised if the Bond books weren't re-released in some capacity. But like you say, the occasion - and the frequency with which the 007 novels have been republished so far this decade - warrants something extra special.

Seeing that there will be the new Penguin 007 imprint, I'm betting we'll see the Fleming books republished yet again.

I agree with [dark] in hoping there is something really special about them this time (if they are indeed re-released).

I'd like to see some of the lesser known Fleming works be republished though. Thrilling Cities, The Diamond Smugglers, his various articles while writing Bond...

I look forward to buying two copies of this: one for myself, and one for my nephews (one likes adventure and the other loves cars). New editions of Thrilling Cities and The Diamond Smugglers, as well as collections of Fleming's journalism would certainly be welcome on my shelves as well, Qwerty.

I'm only familiar with the film. How about a review of the book? I'm glad to see we'll get some original illustrations.
