Glad to see him return. Wonder if he has anything planned for Bond 22 yet.

I'm fine with Arnold being back (his work on CASINO ROYALE had a number of high points), but his sound is starting to get more than a little old. I was hoping for some new blood in this category.

I was hoping for some new blood in this category. I was too. With all the new people that were being brought in, I was hoping they'd get a new composer as well. Oh well, at least one thing about the next film will be on the predictable side ![]() |

This is great news, I am a big fan of Arnold's work (except for DAD which features too much music).

I was too. With all the new people that were being brought in, I was hoping they'd get a new composer as well. Indeed. If BOND 22 is going to have its own flavor, I was hoping for something other than the Arnold sound. Javier Navarrete (of the fantastic score for PAN'S LABYRINTH) would have suited me fine. Oh well, at least one thing about the next film will be on the predictable side Unfortunately. ![]() |

I like David Arnold's work, he combines the classic Bond themes, along with a fresh and modern sound.

Achh...I don't know, I may be one of the few people that is actually disappointed with this news. I was really looking forward to a different composer bringing a new sound to Bond 22's soundtrack, but I guess not this time around. I mean, I'll admit I liked the CR soundtrack, but I really think the scores for his other three Bond films were largely forgettable.

This is all right with me as long as he builds off of the themes that he used in CR.
I'd love to hear hints of "Vesper's Theme" or YKMN at certain moments. |
