As the title of the thread says... Roger Moore will be "immortalized" on The Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday, October 10 @ 11:30 am. The location has yet to be announced/released yet. BUT... I'm certainly planning on heading down there that day. Can't wait to SEE Roger in person! Anyone else from Los Angeles or visiting LA at that time planning on going? ![]() |

If I had known when I made my plane & hotel reservations for HCS that such a thing was occuring a few days later, I would've made plans to stick around longer.

You might be able to change your flight without much extra expense. I was surprised when we were in NYC I changed my reservation on the day of our flight and it was only something like $10 more. ![]() |

I'm there of course! (I saw Pierce get his star in 97.) It still is hard to believe that they took all this time to give Roger a star. Pierce got his in 1997. If you compared Pierce's career to that point to Roger's, it makes no sense. Oh well, better late than never. |

Maybe, but Rogers been in the game alot longer then Pierce and thus should have received his star long ago and long before Pierce.Add to the fact that Roger is more popular in the United States then he is in the UK. ![]() |

You might be able to change your flight without much extra expense. I was surprised when we were in NYC I changed my reservation on the day of our flight and it was only something like $10 more. While that is probably true, it would cost alot more to stay in a hotel those extra days as I will no longer have the HCS special rate in effect. Maybe, but Rogers been in the game alot longer then Pierce and thus should have received his star long ago and long before Pierce.Add to the fact that Roger is more popular in the United States then he is in the UK. First we had David Schofield(I'm probably spelling that wrong)say that Roger was disliked by the masses during his tenure as Bond in a NSNA thread, now this. How do you come to this conclusion, Cruiserweight? |
