Excellent. And about time.
Always found the staff in Dunhill's London store more knowledgeable and helpful than those in Brioni. |

Bryce 003 will be pleased. I'm a Kilgour man, myself. Still - good news! Not Savile Row, but you can't have everything

I said this "going casual" was just the Brioni rep getting in early and spinning being dropped.
Good news. |

Good news. I liked Brioni, but an English tailor is more suitable.

It may be of interest to note that Daniel Craig wore Dunhill bespoke suits to both the Oscars and the Baftas this year... not to mention the World Premier of Casino Royale (I wonder what Brioni made of that!)
Daniel Craig wears Dunhill bespoke to the BAFTAs Dainel Craig wearing a Dunhill bespoke tuxedo at 79th Academy Awards Daniel Craig wears Dunhill to the World Premier of Casino Royale This is more than a coincidence, this change has been on the cards for some time, I would say. Curious it took so long.
With Brosnan being so much the Euro Bond with BMWs and Brionis, the fact that Aston was already a partner by CR, I figured 'they' would have brought everything more UK-centric. As for Saville Row, how would one 'benefit' from this association? Saville Row is not a company so there wouldn't be a partnership as such. ![]() ________________________________________________

Does this, then, put a lie to the fact that #22 is a direct follow on after Bond has Mr White at his mercy?
Or will DC contemptuously slip off the Brioni suit he ended CR while holding Mr W at gunpoint? |

There is a Savile Row association, but I dont think they go into that sort of thing. But the Row is synonymous with English tailoring, Bond went there in the books (I think) and it has undergone something of a resurgence in recent years with people like Richard James and Kilgour sharpening up their act. Kilgour dressed Craig for Layer Cake. But for sure Dunhill is a perfectly good choice! Does this, then, put a lie to the fact that #22 is a direct follow on after Bond has Mr White at his mercy? Or will DC contemptuously slip off the Brioni suit he ended CR while holding Mr W at gunpoint? Now that is an interesting point. Would it be too much for people’s willing suspension of disbelief, if he was wearing a different dark three piece suit when (if) the action of Bond 22 picks up a few second after the events shown at the end Of Casino Royale? I don’t suppose most people would notice (or in deed remember) when they are watching the beginning of the new film. But would it be forever talked about on internet sites and the such like as a glaring continuity error? Or will he just have that old Brioni suit in the PTS then transform into a Dunhill man for the main body of the film? |
