Thanks for the compliments.
And thanks to Evan for his work on the design of the interview, which enhances it beautifully. Thanks most of all to Robert Sellers, whose perseverance and determination and excellent research allows us to finally know the true story behind 007s strange road to the screen. He has been a friend to the Bond community, and CBn in particular, and we look forward to helping illuminate his future work. Take off your jetpack, step off your towsled and track down The Battle for Bond. Its got a SPECTREs ransom full of never before published information. ![]() ![]() |

Fantastic interview, Doublenoughtspy. And thank you Robert. It's an amazing book.
So Robert has two new Bond books in the works, eh? I'm assuming the Vic book is one, but what's the other? The inside story of Octopussy? I hope. Also curious about that second "dark fact" about McClory that was left out of the book. Again, fab work all around. And I agree, the CBn Interviews are tops. ![]() |

A terrific interview! Just what I needed to tide me over until my copy arrives in the mail! One of the many interesting things in this interview is his discussion of meeting Len Deighton. I can only hope this is an inference that there is a book on the Harry Palmer films in the works!

First class stuff, as ever, from Doublenoughtspy - and Mister Asterix with his wonderful graphics. Very interesting. I desperately need to portion some time for this book.

Great interview. I try to read all the reference books on Bond and this must be one of the best ever. Would love to see Robert Sellers write a book on the making of the 54 & 67 versions of Casino Royale.
