This was an excellent interview. Well thought out, incisive questions from someone obviously familiar with and fond of the material, matched with intelligent, informative replies.

Good stuff.

You just made me a very happy man Charlie.

I was hoping and hoping that we would get the Alps adventure that Charlie had talked about, and here he confirms that the fifth book will be set in the Alps.

Top interview there fella.

While I have not read any of these books, he does appear to be on top of the game and well respected for it.

Best of luck to him.

A simply amazing interview - thanks to zencat for his excellent questions and to Charlie for his insightful answers! (And Evan for some of his best graphics to date!)

Great work!

Another brilliant interview simply overflowing with all that info Young Bond fans love.

Interesting to hear how they pushed Hurricane Gold up a bit. Kind of nice though to finish the series next year with the Centenary novel and events going on though.

Every question and answer were thoroughly interesting. Great job! smile.gif

Charlie is brilliant. Good responses.

As for Book 5 being in the Alps, this is absolutely brilliant news. A fitting end to the Young Bond series it being in Book 5. A snow flavoured cover perhaps?

Thanks all. Doing this interview was a really enjoyable experience as it was done face to face. Unlike all my other CBn interviews, which have been via email, this was done via iSight (I think Paul may use sound clips in the Podcast). I've never done anything like this, and it really throws up a new set of challenges. You have to be prepared, but also loose enough to go where the conversation takes you. But what made it easy is Charlie is just incredibly generous and just keeps giving and giving. I'm thrilled with how much into we got on HG and Book 5, and I feel like we touched on just about everything.

Also, Mister Asterix did a FANTASTIC job with the graphics and layout, which is why this interview is here on CBn and not on my own website. The CBn Interview is a class act. smile.gif

And I'm also thrilled with the news of Book 5 being set (partially) in The Alps.

A magnificent interview and exactly the sort of thing that, if one wasn't bothered with Young Bond before, should set the interest running.

Brilliant.
