I'm curious...are people in the UK seeing a now shipping notice on the Amazon page? I somethings think it's only people linking from International locations who get a shipping notice, as it takes 5 or more days to reach us, it ships earlier.

With Express Delivery, it is available by 1pm tomorrow.

Which is exactly the basis I've ordered it on just now. cooltongue.gif

Just hope the delivery firm works Saturdays...

It's on sale in book shops - y'know, shops.

Them things.

WH Smith had a lovely display this morning. Mrs Jim bought the boys a copy each.

Didn't buy me one, the cow.

On that basis, they can read it and give me my opinion of it.

Good old Amazon.

Ordered at 3.30 yesterday, delivered 8.30 this morning. Didn't even have to leave the house smile.gif

Book looks like a big bar of chocolate, though.

What does the back of the book look like? That goes for the inside also.

Its all gold, back and front. The title and authors naame have been stamped into the cover and spine. The rear is plain gold. The pages are edged gold.

Sadly, it sticks out like a sore thumb next to the three previous Higsons and the Flemings. mad.gif

I ordered mine as soon as Amazon were taking pre orders. Amd mine came this morning. I will start reading asap. The Hardback edition have got to say is awsome. Even the pages are gold at the end.

This is a collectors item. I'm just waiting for the Paperback edition now

Ah, I see.

Although it is a collectors edition and all that, I'd miss the "traditional" layout of the other 3. I like to have a back blurb, etc. But, it does give the impression of a slab of gold.

I'll see what this paperback is like soon layout wise.
