I don't consider myself to be "screwed" by buying them in 06.

So, it's the same thing but in a different box! That's a good enough reason to spend $160 somthin' bucks.

Yeah, not much sense to this one if you have the movies already. I am curious to see how they have the movies packaged inside. It looks to be a heavy cardboard box but tough to tell from the photo. Now, if it were a metal box, that would be interesting... wink.gif

They should have given this to us the first time with a spot for Casino Royale instead of four mix matched sets. frown.gif

I was able to snag the last 2 sets for free at my job so, I don't feel screwed paying for the first 2 sets.

Why does the writer say I'm screwed for having bought the 4 box sets? I thought at the time everyone was saying it was a great thing to have the new sets? I don't think it's right for him to say we're screwed for being loyal and supportive fans.

I honestly doubt we'll ever see a proper re-release of Never Say Never Again. Casino Royale is different enough from the official series to avoid looking like part of the franchise. Never Say Never Again is simply too close to the bone.

Happy to be proven wrong, but I don't see it happening.

Welcome to CBn! I'm the writer so let me explain:

One complete set is better than four mismatched sets, right? At the time, the four sets were the best deal but it's unfair for Eon/MGM/Sony to release this much better set less than a year later.

You and I were screwed BECAUSE we're loyal fans and that's what makes the whole situation disgusting.

I don't like the packaging for the four original sets (which I bought anyway), but I couldn't really care less about this new set. The only thing that would annoy me is if they put some new exclusive bonus features that were only available in this box, but otherwise, ehh, its just a box.
