So if this is indeed confirmation that the end of Casino Royale is pretty much the beginning of Bond 22, then the Italian locations make sense, since Bond is already in that part of the world. Another query, if Bond is already engaged in a pursuit, could we see a diminished role for MI6 period? They did away with Moneypenny and Q for Casino Royale, what if they do away with M for Bond 22? I'm sure the people who don't care for Dench would be up for that

I would like that. It would be sort of like Bourne, his own man hunting for revenge.
I found the MI6 scenes of late to be the weak links in the chain in the films from TWINE onward. |
