I have CR on DVD and unless this new edition has the deleted scenes, I won't be buying it. I'll have to get it if it does have cut footage on it though. There's no way I could resist. I'm really curious to see these scenes. Sony certainly do milk this, draining us poor consumers of our hard earned money!

I made a point not to purchase the first version of the DVD. Now, three discs with deleted scenes and commentary? Count me in.

Great news! Right on, Teddy Bear. Agonized myself by waiting on this edition, but I've known there was a better one coming ever since we heard about the lame specs on the last one. I'd be surprised if anyone didn't expect this; it's the way most movies have debuted on DVD. Barebones release immediately, collector's release 1 year+ later. Regular as clockwork.

Fantastic! I hope the special features are worthy of the movie, and if so, I'll certainly be buying this.

Brilliant News! I simply cannot wait for this release! I hope Craig does a commentary - with Eva and Mads of course! wink.gif
I hope we get a release date soon.

I wonder whether three discs will actually be necessary, or whether it'll be a case of spreading bonus material that could easily fit onto two discs across three in order to make it look more of a super-duper edition than it actually is.

3 discs? I'm hoping we get a pretty in-depth making-of documentary (at least an hour), because if it's just deleted scenes, commentary, and some five minutes featurettes, then there's no need for three discs.

I too gave the first version a wide berth. It's been tough not watching the film for a second time, but I'd rather wait for the better release.
