Charlie really does know how to write well. Whenever I read a Young Bond book I feel in the action and literally hold my breath.

....In his haste to escape the rain James quickly forgot about Angel Corona and the five tourists. He could have had no idea what part they were all going to play in his life.
Hmm, is Angel Corona a character confined to the pages of Hurricane Gold or does this character live on in another Ian Fleming novel. Just pondering since Higson tends to give us a character or two that connects with Bond later in his career.  |
