Perhaps he meant that "He's been recognised as the greatest ever, and deservedly so." Bless him. |

Good for you for being so noble, Pierce.
But aren't we all a bid fed up of the ex-Bond's going over the top about Craig? Can't we just once have, say, Tim Dalton coming out with, "Well, he was okay. Made a serious attempt at interpeting the character. But I thought I nailed Fleming far more accurately in Licence to Kill and I actually LOOKED like the character Fleming wrote about. That's something Daniel will never achieve." Anybody heard George Lazenby's opinion, though? He's never slow to bash a fellow Bond.

Seriously, though, you make a good point: Brosnan's comments - while appreciated and all very nice and everything - really say nothing at all, and do not even suggest that he has seen CASINO ROYALE. |
