I hope there's a new transfer from Lowry Digital like the Ultimate Edtions DVDs. I'm hoping it's a 2-Disc set as well.

Oooh....a commentary with the author of THE JAMES BOND FILMS: A BEHIND THE SCENES HISTORY and the author of THE LEGACY. Two of my favorite Bond reference books. Should be good!

This is just what I have been waiting and hoping for! Good news. The audio commentary will be very exciting to hear and "The Making of Casino Royale" I hope will give us more information then the old Val Guest interview.

Wow, I'm really kind of surprised they are putting this out, what with CR '06 out there and the fact this was one of those rogue productions usually only mentioned in passing when it came to talking about Bond films. You'd think they wouldn't want anything detracting from the newest version, especially since I saw I don't know how many critics refer to it as a remake of the '67 version.
I welcome it as I am one of the few people who actually enjoys CR '67 for what it is, a slice of psychedelic '60s cheese. And it's one of the films that has one of the most interesting behind the scenes stories behind it, so I'm happy to learn whatever I can about it. It's also great they got two Bond experts, Rubin and Cork, to do the commentary. Nice to see Rubin still out there in Bond fandom. With this coming out, does that mean there may be plans for a new version of that other rogue Bond film?  "You didn't think I'd miss this performance, did you?"
