007NL.com has the back covers, which display the individual month artwork, and there's a notable lack of anything Brosnan in each calendar.

Pretty surprising considering he has always been featured before prominently.

And what is with that shot of Lazenby's head? dizzy.gif

Ouch! Yes that's kind of interesting. Although the first one is 'James Bond classic', so it looks to be focusing on Sean/Rog/Laz (though this didn't stop them putting Craig on the cover for some reason!)
The Bond movie posters one is probably just a testament to the poster art for the Brosnan era being pretty generic and forgettable. Looks like they're choosing some of the wackier foreign ones they could find.

The Lazenby head shot is bizarre. I think I would let this classic calendar pass this year.

As a long time buyer of these teNeues calendars, I'm disappointed that the '08 Classic one is HALF black and white images. What gives?

Past calendars have usually included a couple b+w's, but this is overboard. Surely some will say "They were set photographs from the 60's and 70's and weren't taken in color." If that's the case, scrap 'em and find some color photos from a different source. Surely the EON archives (as evidenced by countless color picture books and many past color calendars) have better pictures to offer.

And how do they justify the cheesy b+w "screen grab" from LALD, a color film?

"One has to show a special talent that people here don't have."
"That shouldn't be too difficult."

Those are some odd choices. That Laznby head shot, which I've never seen before, guarantees Doublenought will buy this one. Maybe I'll have my sister get it for me for Christmas.

You guys don't own the James Bond Movie Posters book? The On Her Majesty's Secret Service poster is a US Style A and it says "JAMES BOND 007 IS BACK!" on his face.

I think they're referring to the photo of Lazenby on the "James Bond Classic" calendar, Righty, rather than the poster.

Definitely a little disappointing although I do like the picture of Jaws.
