If THE SPY WHO LOVED ME is chosen as the next one (and I think it should be), then, considering the Ultimate dvd being the worst of the series due to extreme edge enhancement, it's interesting to know wether they are going to use the same Lowry Digital master, cause I think they will never get away with that inferior scan...And since Goldfinger was released digitally in the theatres for the most part, that will be the same for the next, with probably only one or two 35mm-prints struck for theatres not being able to project digitally yet...
And another thing on the dvd, I know it may look great on your pc or a small television, but I use a (very good) beamer and I can't watch the dvd, it looks like vhs-crap to me (region 2, Pal, Ultimate), as opposed to OHMSS, which is one of the best of the new transfers. Now I know Lowry Digital got a lot of complaints on TSWLM, but are they going to do it all over again? Anybody knows more about this subject? I just wish they would re release them in the US! I was under the impression that the US got more Bond Re-releases than in the UK? ![]() "You're so blinded by inconsolable rage, that you dont care who you hurt!" Quantum of Solace - October 31st 2008 |

Knowing fans I'd imagine that Spy or OHMSS will be most likely to win.

I voted for The Spy Who Loved Me. Although, I would have voted for OHMSS, if I hadn't seen it on the big screen already.
Anyone remember that NFT screening? The whole audience groaned when they realized it was the European edit, with the safcracker scene in Gumbold's office cut out! |
