Oh wow, he was there. I guess this is absolute confirmation that it will appear in Bond 22 (note the video camera behind him!)

Man, this confirms that directors are just funny puppets, Craig is the guy who actually directed CR and will direct the next one too. Craig pulls the strings.
I mean, where's the bald director ? Please. Craig is the second coming of the christ regarding the Bond series. "warming up to the Quantum Of Solace trailer... hoping the movie is Craig's FRWL"

Yes, there's a DV camera behind him, and it looks like there a microphone clipped under his tie. It could very well be that he came with the unit shooting the horse race just to watch -- but it might also be they are grabbing a few shots of the race with "Bond" in frame. Not scenes, just shots, which they may use or not. It's possible. In which case this IS our first look at Daniel Craig in Bond 22.

Hmmmm yes it could be a behind-the-scenes camera. Its possible Craig was in character as Bond earlier for a quick shot or two, but these photos look distinctly 'after hours', unless EON are going for an ultra-casual Bond look, complete with loose tie and beer bottle
