even though many of the brosnan films had him on a mission that was "personal" i like the sound of this a lot because im sure they will do it differently and use it to develop the bond character more so like craig says

A movie where Bond is looking for revenge...Isn't that every Bond movie for the last 20 years? yes, but for some reason with the creative forces behind BOnd 22, I think they might put together a more rounded story than they did on the 4 Brosnan films. ![]() ![]() |

“I think that we’ve set up an idea now that there’s an organisation out there,” said Craig, when asked where he’d like to see the character go in the yet-to-be-titled Bond 22. “He also has to deal with revenge because he has lost the girl. I think the process [of how he becomes Bond] is still happening. We haven’t finished the [story] arc. Bond is still maybe too headstrong and he doesn’t make all of the right decisions. I want to continue what we’ve set up in the last movie.”
Sounds very good to me... ![]() |

They tried to make every assignment a personal one, but never developed the idea past a few lines and throw-away scenes. I like how Bond 22 sounds. |

i also like how craig is classy in talking about the bourne series. he could have stated the obvious that it will never reach the level of the bond series but he was positive about the series which is a good contrast to the comments of greengrass and damon.

I was really hoping for Bond 22 to be Craig's Tomorrow Never Dies. The "Find villain, kill villain" type of Bond. I guess even in TND Bond was going out for revenge after Carver has his wife killed, but it is done in a way I like...more subtle. Unlike Die Another Day, when he keeps talking about "the person who set me up" like he has completely lost it. There are just as many ways to do this right as there are to mess it up, so I have faith that Bond 22 will be the best revenge flick in recent memory if thats the way they choose to go.

Greengrass and Damon slammed Bond ? I had no idea, if they did, it's really that their heads become a little too big. It's exciting to make movies that are great like they both do together, but come on... this kind of talk don't lead you nowhere and take away from the quality of your work.
I mean when you're an unknown posting on the web, go all you want (but of course, some do go overboard, that is another problem), but when you are the director and star of the Bourne Series, ease off. It's not a dick sizing contest. ![]() Stamper have been waiting for the revenge movie since 1971. Better late than never !

This is the second time I've heard the word "revenge" from an insider in relation to Bond 22.
