Of course it goes without saying that I am pumped for the new Higson Young Bond book
Thanks for the news tip zencat. I'm hoping she is as well written and as interesting as Vendetta, who was probably my favorite character in Blood Fever. ![]() ![]() Robert Brown was Admiral Hargreaves in TSWLM, OP, AVTAK, TLD and LTK damnit Enforcer, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Roger Moore Proud defender of Barbara Bach, Carole Bouquet, Barbara Carrera, Maryam D'Abo, A View to a Kill, Never Say Never Again and The Spy Who Loved Me. |

Yeah.. I gotta say that name kinda sucks.. but okay. You don't like it? I think it's great (obviously she's the daughter of this Jack Stone character). I think Higgy alway gets his Bond Girl name balance just right. Precious Stone. It's a touch outrageous, but certainly not impossible, especially in the 1930s. Unlike say, Lavender Peacock (License Renewed)...which is fun, but it just isn't a name. ![]() |

Well I find it just rather silly and not in a "Oh that's Bond" sort of way like Pussy Galore or Xenia Onnatopp. I don't really care though to be honest. There have been... worse. Sort of. Gardner had some really bad ones. I kind of just ignore them as I read. ![]() ![]() |

It's OK. Bond girl names seem to be one of the trickiest bits when it comes to the novels. I think Amy Goodenough is the best of them in the Young Bond series.

It's ok - seems appropriate for a Young Bond novel.
