So he should. And he's the only real creative element from Bond who has spanned the series from then to now (except maybe Peter Lamont).

Granted, I'm not a fan of the lyrics for The Man with the Golden Gun, but I can't say that his lyrics for some of his newer Bond songs (Surrender, The World Is Not Enough, Only Myself To Blame) are really all that better or worse than some of the other Bond songs he hasn't worked on.
