Hmm. That's neat. Maybe trying to space out the release of this and the May 2008 stuff? Does that mean YB5 is on track for late 2008? To coincide with the release of Bond 22. Remember they were going to try that with Blood Fever till Casino Royale got delayed.

Also hardcover. Interesting turn there.

Very cool news! Wonder why they're switching to an initial hardback release for this one.

It very well could be, K1. I expect the YB4 paperback will be released in 2008, so they are still on schedual in that regard.

What a surprise this is!

I think this news means all bets are off now as the release date of Young Bond 5. Could be next year as a hardcover, could be 2009 so as not to overload 2008 with new Bond books. I think we need to wait to hear from IFP on this. I've now changed the 2009 date to "TBA" on my site.

BTW, Mexican "road trip"? The "road trip" aspect is new plot info.

I hope a paperback edition does follow soon. I would give it till late July and early August till we know the title of the book. I also thought that the september release may have something do with the cenetenary novel.

Exciting news, but I'll probably hold off til the paperback is released, as these will look a nice set of five on the shelf.

Hopefully we'll hear news on the title and cover art over the next few months.

Can't wait. Patience is not one of my virtues so I hate it when you read a great book but then know you have to wait at least two years for the next one.
