Now on the CBn main page...
interesting interview with 007 producer Barbara Broccoli: http://www.filmstew.com/showArticle.aspx?ContentID=15094 QUOTE I think he would love Daniel, she suggests. When Daniel did that scene where he shoots the gun, I burst into tears because thats all I could think of, that I just wish my father was here to see him in this role. Because I think he would have loved him.

Charming quote. But still my inner Bond geek wants to know 'what scene where he shoots the gun'?

The gun barrel scene? Most likely, I guess. Curious that she doesn't just call it 'the gunbarrel scene'. I also like Babs's remarks about not wanting to 'dumb down' the film. Hopefully Eon sticks to that. ![]() 'The scent and smoke and sweat of a casino are nauseating at three in the morning.'

Yes, that was a big problem with the last few films. I'm sure Pierce seriously HATED it. They kept giving Bond these interjections where he can sum up perfectly what the villain is going to do while all the other lamebrains are beginning to put the pieces together. And thus, he spells it right out to the dumb audience who couldn't get it without Bond's quick, easy explanation.

I think she's referring to the gunbarrel shot. Although she's not being very clear about it.
To me that's the one that stands out anyway. ![]() ![]() |

Charming quote. But still my inner Bond geek wants to know 'what scene where he shoots the gun'? There is only one actual scene in the entire James Bond cinematic canon where he actually shoots a gun. Usually he shoots men and women. Yep, firing a gun vs. shooting a gun, little linguistic thingie, get it now, I'm from Amshterdahm, zo zorry. It's the gunbarrel, folks. ![]() 'The scent and smoke and sweat of a casino are nauseating at three in the morning.'

I think the plots in Brosnan's films was fairly complex (TWINE is the best example). ![]() "I'm not about to come unhinged when everything goes wrong.
