The advantage of these US audiobooks are they are complete and unabridged. The Charile Higson UK audiobooks are abridged versions.

Thus far I haven't collected the US audiobooks...just the UK. But maybe I need to start. I do like that they are unabridged. The trick is to find them cheap.

They definitely don't show up on eBay as often as the UK ones do. I only saw SilverFin on there a few times.

Listening to the excerpt reminds me that "The Hungry Machine" (or "A Hungry Machine") would been a good title. It's nice and mysterious, and also works as a cryptic crossword clue to what the book is all about. I wonder if it was ever considered?
