I have a Croation friend who found this tit bit in a recent Croatian film mag he subscribes to. He told me in the past they have been shoddy in their predictions on various films and rumours but something about this seems to ring true, despite me not seeing it anywhere else...
"Apparently when auditioning for Bond in Casino Royale, Goran Visnjic did such a good job he burned into the minds of the EON psyche. So powerful was his performance that he single handly won the role of next Bond Baddie in the upcoming Bond22 film with Daniel Craig. It is rumoured that Goran's agent has confirmed the star is working on something massive and will be taking a well earned break from ER in late 2007. It is rumoured that Goran will be playing Vesper Lynds former love interest and that his role will be sizable, meanacing and significant to the plot of the upcoming Bond adventure. Bond 22 is continuation of Casino Royale and will be forming a trilogy story for Daniel Craig's rough and tough Bond. |

always thought Goran was tested for Le Chiffre's part, and not to be next Bond. In the movie, Le chiffre is thought to be from Albania, and the main plot was set in Montenegro. So Goran probably fit with both parts.
If any truth lays on, maybe, I wasn't wrong. I think he could be good. |

I think they also reported that Sean Connery was going to play Bond's father and Roger Moore was going to be Bond's Mother. With George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan playing siblings. Even Barry Nelson is on board as Unlce Ed.

I don't believe a word of it.

It could posbile be true. There's a slight resemblance between him and Mads, so who knows.
If anything. I would think that EON would cast him as another 'OO' as opposed as the main villain. Either way. I would love to see Goran in a Bond.

Anything is possible. Plus, I love these speculations... it keeps your mind rolling on the new Bond adventure... instead of just being set on... well nothing new in the bond world. Just my opinion. If it's a crap story, then whatever, but I like thinking about it.
