-----UPDATE-----
The Saturn awards (The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror films) have nominated CR for : Best Action/adventure/thriller film Best Actor, Daniel Craig Best Supporting Actress, Eva Green Best Writing, Purvis & Wade, Haggis Best Music, David Arnold I was going to ask exactly how prestigious these things are, then I noticed on the nominees list that they got Judi Dench's and Will Ferrell's names wrong. Edit - I see DAD was also nominated for four - Best action/adv/thriller, Pierce Brosnan, Halle Berry, and Toby Stephens, so make what you will of all this |

It is great to see CR and the group getting recognition, despite the level of prestige of the nomination/award.

Any nomination is good news I guess, even though I admit I'd never heard of these awards before. Fingers crossed for CASINO ROYALE here.

"Actin/Adventure/Thriller?" One genre for all that? CR better have won that!
WOW. It's kind of amazing, the extent to which Daniel has gotten the shaft. ![]() |

I agree, DC should have won. SUPERMAN RETURNS was an okay movie. CR was superior. Dang.

Pity Daniel didn't win Best Actor, as he had more acting to do than Brandon in SR.
Still, SR was a corker of a film, and CR deserved the win...if maybe a few more! Well done! ![]()
