To take place at Pinewood Studios in July 2007

I'll be living in England around this time so I think I will attend this. I work in the film indsutry but I haven't any contacts in the England industry and it's alot harder to get film work when one is without contacts. Maybe I'll find some here! Wishful thinking probably. One has to try though.

Is there anyone on this forum who works in the film industry in England and would like to help this desperate chap out? I'd be overjoyed to do any type of work.

I would love to attend this event. Definitely not happening, but one can still wish.

Wonder who'll be on the guest list.

Fantastic. Tons of good information, glorious weather, the best ensemble of behind the scenes Bond folk ever assembled in one place and a thoroughly pleasant day. Wonderfully organized as usual by Gareth Owen, Andy Boyle and the rest of the www.bondstars.com team. Was worth it just to see Lewis Gilbert chatting to Christopher Wood and Peter Murton, Peter Lamont and Sir Ken Adam altogether in one place. Reg Berkshire, one of the few remaining stalwarts from Dr No also was informative.

Peter Lamont announced he was NOT doing the next Bond film. He said that Dennis Gassner would be designing the Bond 22 production. Gassner won an Oscar in 1992 for Bugsy and is a stalwart of Cohen brothers films as well as coming off the Dan Craig-starrer, The Golden Compass.

Having attended last year's event, I have no doubt that the weather for this year's event was an improvement. Last year felt like NYC in August, though it didn't detract from the good time had by all. Still, not the type of weather one expects in England, especially when you live in NYC.

I agree with those that loved this. A completely professionally organised and jaw-dropping experience. So many legends! And to a man/woman the nicest people you could wish to meet. An incredible day.

VERY sad about Peter Lamont. I think this is a bad move by the Bond team. I don't know the circumstances surrounding Ken Adam's departure, but I suspect it was not like this. Lamont was clearly put out and rightly so.

Sounds like yet another great event from Bondstars. Would have loved to attend this one.
