I was in one of the 17 WH Smiths in Waterloo Station yesterday afternoon and spotted a second print run edition of Double or Die. Couldn't find any differences between the first and second runs, but interesting to see the first run sold out so quickly.

Unfortunately, Double or Die dropped to #2 this week on the UK Children's list. It dropped to #20 overall on the UK 50. In comparison, Blood Fever made #1 on the Children's List in its second week (same as DoD) then held the spot for eleven weeks. Hopefully it'll regain the spot in the next week. I think they release this information on Wednesdays.

Hopefully. Perhaps there are several other strong/new books on the list.

"High School Musical: The Book of the Film" was #1. frown.gif Not on Amazon though. DoD ranks 27 on there and this HS one is in the thousands.

Spotted a fourth print run edition the other day. Not bad for a book that's only been out three months.

Cool.

Was there any change in the cover or the ads on the flaps?

In contrast, I was in a bookstore the other day and spotted two hardcover Blood Fevers on the shelf. Both were Firsts.

No changes as far as I could see (right down to Young Bond 4 as merely "coming soon"). I expect future print runs may include a quote specific to Double or Die on the back of the book.
