It's been a while since we heard any news on the Sideshow James Bond collection. We've been waiting eagrly for a Daniel Craig one or a Le Chiffre or Vesper. But Sideshow as impressed me once again with this new format 'Premium' figure of Sean Connery. Check the link http://www.sideshowtoy.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?item=71121 ![]() |

I'd like to actually see some characters we haven't gotten yet. All they're doing lately is Bond.

I can't recall Connery ever wearing that suit in Thunderball. I knew he worn it in Goldfinger.

I can't recall Connery ever wearing that suit in Thunderball. I knew he worn it in Goldfinger. I think this suit is from the PTS of Thunderball isn't it? Anyway, yeah BAD likeness. Don't know why, Sideshow has been pretty good with the Connery figures. And yet again - WHERE IS A CRAIG FIGURE? I can't believe Lazenby has two figures and still no Craig. |

Honestly, Sideshow should stick to importing/making available kits & figures from Japan. I have yet to see ANY figure of theirs (as in, a figure they produced themselves) that bears more than a passing resemblance to the actor portrayed. Who was it that made those awful Tomorrow Never Dies figures when that movie was in theaters? That's about the same level of sculpting quality I see in this. And good god, out of all possible shots of Timothy Dalton, they had to base their figure on the absolute two worst moments & it didn't even look like his face at all. TO HELL WITH YE, I SAY.
