The whole concept of a Moneypenny series of books seemed bizarre to me, but this review has really got me intrigued. Especially the fact that it covers the events post-YOLT and during The Man with the Golden Gun... implying the next book could reveal what came next in the world of Flemings Bond. As told to Samantha Weinberg :-)

The continuity novels of Gardner and Benson were good in their ways, but the fact they updated the character kinda stole something of the shine for the original Fleming books. But these Moneypenny stories are actually set back in the 60s.

Haven't read either of the books yet, but now I might give them a go.

Should get around to sampling the Young Bond books, too.

I highly recommend checking this series out. Start with the first book, The Moneypenny Diaries: Guardian Angel if you can.
