-----UPDATE-----
Ok, so far, the international total is just over $390,000,000 (since Sunday), now I was wondering how many films reach the $400m goal internationally, and how long it should take Royale to make that $10m... ![]() |

Ok, so far, the international total is just over $390,000,000 (since Sunday), now I was wondering how many films reach the $400m goal internationally, and how long it should take Royale to make that $10m... Well only three other films made over $400 mil internationally in 2006 - Pirates, Da Vinci Code, and Ice Age 2. And again in 2005 only three films did it - Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Narnia. And what the hell, let's look at 2004 - yep, three again : Potter, Shrek, Spidey. In other words, this is really an elite milestone that only the biggest of the big can get to. |

Well, here's a list:
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/intl/alltime/intl.htm Funnily enough, though, CASINO ROYALE doesn't seem to be on it. Mind you, this list doesn't seem to have been updated for some months. If this $400 million figure is true, that makes CR bigger than E.T.! |

Hang on, so DIE ANOTHER DAY did only $271,028,927 internationally? (According to this list on Box Office Mojo.) Wow. That's one in the eye for the DCINB mob, eh?

Yes, consid--you know the rest. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/yearly/?view2...date&p=.htm You can click on each individual year at this link and see what the top films were internationally. Usually only 3 films a year cross $400 mil internationally...CR will make it four for 2006. |

What a great statistic to fling at the Craig-haters - CR has trounced DAD by well over $100 million.
Unless, of course, you adjust for inflation, but---- ah, heck, it's done brilliantly. Or, if you prefer, it's a flop and what the world really wants is the return of Brosnan. Take your pick. |

Unless, of course, you adjust for inflation Why should we? They never did when saying Brosnan was the highest earner ever, the Billion dollar Bond, etc. They just used the unadjusted figures...![]() |

I wonder if it will make that before the China opening. It most recently took in $11.3 million internationally over the weekend.

Ok, so far, the international total is just over $390,000,000 (since Sunday), now I was wondering how many films reach the $400m goal internationally, and how long it should take Royale to make that $10m... 'JCR' 22 Films have passed the $400,000,000 in international sales (i.e. non US). The next 2 films above CR are the 'Spiderman' films. No 21 Spiderman at $417,900,000 and No 22 Spiderman 2 at $410,200,000 CR should be able to pass 'spidey2' before the end of its run, could even reach 'spidey1' if BO in China is strong. Incidently CR will pass $400,000,000 at the Int BO this coming weekend. EA |

ah, ok, 22. http://www.boxofficemojo.com/intl/alltime/intl.htm - how is this one different? 'JCR' The 'boxofficemojo' chart is not upto DATE, as per date given above chart, does not include 2006 hits such as POTC:DMC, DaVinci Code AND Ice age:Meltdown which all made over $400mil internationally.
