Now on the CBn main page...
Just for reference, i posted the figure (as shown above) from 'Screen International' as they are a very professional boxoffice tracking source. Though the info there is only available through a subscription. The figures that are posted at some internet boxoffice sites are usually estimated figures from the film trade sources based on early weekend estimates. What is the actual figure in pounds? Converting the number back would probably be a mistake. I'm just curious...

What is the actual figure in pounds? Converting the number back would probably be a mistake. I'm just curious... The exact figure, pounds sterling will be available online usually around mid morning Wednesday GMT. see BBC report below:- UPDATE: Found a couple of reports for CR in the UK for confirmation, one from Variety below:- http://www.variety.com/article/VR111795740...yid=13&cs=1 and one from the BBC http://www.bbc.co.uk/films/2007/01/16/high...s_article.shtml This post has been edited by English Agent: 16 January 2007 - 13:19 |

Oh the irony - Bond can beat Pirates, but not penguins... lol. ;-) Raybond. Qwerty.......thanks, keep up the good work. I have just been to the 'Screen Internatinal' boxoffice tracking site, and they have re-evaluated the weekends boxoffice takings in the UK, and they are even better for CR. Total figure as of end of JAN 14th now stands at: $104,408,336 ------------ It now looks certain that CR can pass the $106-107 mil dollars made by LOTR:ROTK, to become the second highest grossing film in the UK in terms of the dollar value!! Not bad for a film, predicted by many to be a flop, eh. For reference the penguin feature has managed $33,607,561 in the UK. |
