Nice! thumbup.gif

Is there any way to see all of the longlists to see what exactly CR is in contention for a nomination for?

Now let the Academy stop being such pricks and realize that CR deserves some kind of attention.

Well as Cinderella says, "A Dream is a wish..." Hey I can wish the Academy does recognize CR but the day that happens is the same day I buy a winning lottery ticket.

course if I win, I'll have a private showing of CR then biggrin.gif

I am not suprised,I did originally tout the thought that 'Casino Royale' would pick up some juicy award nominations, after seeing a lot of movies in 2006 'Casino Royale' is a stand out movie. The reversal of the CGI trend in movies MUST be rewarded. The casting department above all deserve special mention.Dan,Eva, & Mads give great preformances & I definatly see one of them collecting something.
Lets be honest it does not have a great deal to beat.Yes 'The Queen' will also be a shoe in but there is room for Bond.
Good Luck to the EON team.

I don't think do you Mr Bond that the United Nations will let it come to that??

Interesting...out of four categories it didn't get a (longlist) nomination four, it is ineligible for three of them. I think Mads should have been up for best supporting actor!

Indeed! Would have been cool to see Casino Royale nominated in everything it was eligible for.

It has got to win for adapted screenplay. Can anyone deny that it pretty much kept the spirit of the novel and improved on it? Isn't that how you win best adapted screenplay?
