Sounds like bull. Who the hell are "Braun Entertainment Group"...? Apparently a bunch of opportunists looking for publicity by name dropping Daniel Craig and Bond.

I've heard rumours of a film adaptation being made of this whole story, which I would find personally fascinating. Naturally, I think Craig would be excellent in the role, but I am a bit sceptical of the report at this stage.
Just found the Braun Entertainment Group website. Not the most professional site I've ever seen... |

LOL, yes nothing says 'bigtime Hollywood players' quite like a homepage at members.aol.com Seems like a two-bit production company looking to get some attention. |

Seems like Craig is an actor aware of and trying to avoid typecasting. Couldnt imagine him playing another spy. He's already been Bond and a mossad agent.

Sometime ago, I created a thread about the Litvinenko death news which had some very interesting comments:

Interesting story, but probably more geared to a TV movie or a mini-series. Plus, I think Craig should beware of too many downbeat roles at this point.

Thought it seemed early to start making films about the man. We're still not eve 100% sure who did it.

I've heard Johnny Depp acquired this project, and I've also heard Warner Bros. acquired it for him. Either way, it looks like it won't be Daniel's.

Johnny Depp may, of course, not be playing the role of Litvinenko, as it is merely his production company that has acquired the rights to the story. I can't really see him in the role, but he is a chameleon so I suppose it is conceivable.
