I always remember hearing that Desmond Llewellyn had died in December 1999, just after I'd been to see TWINE, and I remember being even more shocked to hear that it had been a car crash.

I have been going to this site for years. It is my primary source for bond news. i love it to death. But today i must say that I have am deeply and profoundly disspapointed in the site. Recently you posted an im memory of section, it was a long list of people who are assosiated with the franchise that have past. It stuck me as extremly offensive and carelss that Michael Kamen was left off that list. Being a member of this industry i SINCERILY hope this was a mistake. For the first time ever i can say that commanderbond.net has let me down.

It's frightening how many of them died as a result of cancer.
I lost my father to throat cancer (same as Pat Roach) in 1998 and my mother is currently battling breast cancer.

When you're younger, you don't really appreciate how terrible it is, but it touches all our lives one way or another frown.gif

Let me reassure you the initial exclusion of Michael Kamen from this article was not an oversight or carelessness. This article took time to put together, and I was working on updating it on and off for the past few hours. You will now find Michael Kamen and others now on it.

You may also be interested in reading CBn's own tribute to Michael Kamen, an excellent article by Paul Dunphy, which has been on the site for three years: Michael Kamen: A CBn Tribute.

Shady Tree still doesn't get any respect! lol
And if we are counting Casino Royale(1967) Peter Sellers and David Niven should be added.I'm not complaining i'd just like to see as many people rembered as possible.

Given that the original article was published five months before the poor man died, whilst your feedback is noted, wouldn't you say that was a little harsh?

"There was a violent cruelty, a pathological desire to wound, quite near the surface in the man."
