How much did CR cost to make? It would be interesting to compare its box office to the whole series(with adjustments made for inflation, of course)

From what I've read: $150M to make + $150M advertising = $300M.
This is big. Oh, this is very big news. Thanks Qwerty. |

We've heard alot of different numbers for the budget. Between $100 - $150 million seems to be the consensus.

Using dollars is such deceptive BS.
The US dollar is a lot stronger against a number of foreign currencies than it was in 2002. So using US dollars smacks of propaganda BS. Let's hear the figures in British pounds rather than hiding behind a favorable (to Casino Royale) currency exchange rate. ![]() ![]() Robert Brown was Admiral Hargreaves in TSWLM, OP, AVTAK, TLD and LTK damnit Enforcer, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Roger Moore Proud defender of Barbara Bach, Carole Bouquet, Barbara Carrera, Maryam D'Abo, A View to a Kill, Never Say Never Again and The Spy Who Loved Me. |

I hope it beats Die Another Day, but I want it to beat the 2002 picture fair-and-square instead of using tricks like playing with exchange rates.

$1.34 to the pound. Sorry, I'm a stckler for details Qwerty. Seriously? Mrs Jim has just been in New York on a medical conference/ heavily disguised and husband-suspicious shoe shopping trip and she claimed it was nearer $2.00 to the . And will continue to claim that when the credit card bill lands. Anyway, third world economy. ![]() ![]() "There was a violent cruelty, a pathological desire to wound, quite near the surface in the man." But after the banks take their cut for exchanging the currency it's probably closer to $2 to the pound. |
