It was bound to lose place eventually if enough new films are coming out; I'm not really smitten on Craig (even though it was a nice performance) but in the film's defense, it's chugging along nicely.

It was only a matter of time, especially with all these new movies coming out now. I'd say it's still doing great. thumbup.gif

Nothing against kids films or anything, but is anyone else getting a little sick of all these computer animated films? remember when Toy Story came out? it was quite new then, really special. It's just the same old thing now though, washed up celebs doing voice overs for Pixar.

An avalanche of action, BIGGER, BETTER...Different, if you think you know your Bond, think again.

True. But, there is definately a market for kids movies. Too bad those little carpet munchers outnumber us Bond fans, lol.

Still hoping for CR to out-do DAD. Although DAD did have quite the marketing push, it being the big number 20, with Halle Berry and all.

CR should still have some legs to last into the new year. It may only play on one or two screens in the multiplex, but it will be a nice alternative to some of the other newer blockbusters. I hope so, anyway, because I want to see it again.

By January, CR will likely go into the second run theaters. I still remember watching a college football bowl game on January 1, 1996 and seeing a ring in the new year with Bond GE commercial, which is actually on the DVD.

Except that this one seems to be getting alot more attention (and thus business at the box office) compared to some of the others.

They're estimating the UK gross at 98 million when it's all said and done. That's about what Pirates did. Could be the #1 film of the year there. Just thought I would note this.
