I'm getting a little tired of these new recordings by the same people every year and a half or whatever it is.

I'd love to hear how they even attempt Die Another Day though. I'm not convinced that apart from Die Another Day, these even will be new recordings, just the re-hashed Raine/Silva library.

honestly, the best thing would be if they would release the unreleased music from the films that haven't gotten that treatment yet. Otherwise, I'm not sure there's really anything interesting left to release in Bond music...

A few of these cues are exclusive to this Silva collection if I recall right. The Moonraker cue, Arrival At Chateau Drax / Freefall, isn't on the official soundtrack.

Seems a little light regarding coverage of the most recent films.

Yeah, I would have liked to see more cues there as well.

This same 4 disc set (up to TWINE) was released in 2002 as just The James Bond Collection and whilst I already have the older tracks, I'll still buy it for my collection - nice to have the unofficial Bonds included this time.

Welcome to the world of film music biggrin.gif
I'm a little tired of it as well, but I think I'm going to get it. If these are really all new recordings and not just the same pieces that were released three years ago, then I'm very interested. I always like to hear new performances.

By the way, anyone seen this: http://www.amazon.com/Casino-Royale/dp/B00...TF8&s=music

Is that an official Casino Royale release? The track list doesn't seem to have anything to do with the film. I'm asking because it's being released on November 14th.

Seems like they cash in on the new CR release by re-releasing the old one. Confusingly so for most, I predict.

Nope, it's a rerelease of the soundtrack to the unofficial 1967 Casino Royale film.
