A marathon? Sounds more like a bender. A James Bond bender...

It sound gruelling to me! I think insanity would start to set in around, say, DAF. Most people have their favorite Bond flicks during the first 5 or 6, but once you start getting towards the AVTAKs, it'd be tough going.

If I lived in England, I'd do it in a second. No problem.

Already did.

May - 2003

In the space of ten days, I got dumped and my last remaining parent (my father) passed away.

Upon returning to LA, I stocked up on frozen foods, turned down the phone and went for it.

Three days, two naps (paused whichever film I was in the middle of), one bottle of Glenlivet, a shower and 15 hours of sleep.

Right as rain when I woke up.

Not the best grieving process, but it worked.

As for this...

Commercials?

Non-letterboxed?

Edited for time and/or content?

Pass.

It's like an extreme sport!!

And it reminds me of that episode of Alan Partridge when he wants to watch all the Bond movies over a Bank Holiday.

Sounds like way too long for me. I've watched 'em all in order before, but this...! tongue.gif

Still, will be interesting to see how it goes.

Could be fun to give it a go...
But I wouldn t do it alone, could be fun if you re in a group of say, 3 or 4.
Just get enough food and drinks in, and go for it...
Unfortunately, no other bond fans live anywhere near me... alas...
(hey, excuses were made to be used... biggrin.gif )

The most I've ever done is watch all four Brosnan films back to back.. took me about 8 hours and I couldn't watch another Bond film for a couple of months afterwards.. I can't even begin to imagine what this complete 20 film marathon will be like!! tongue.gif

I couldn't do it in 42 hours.

2 a day for 10 days in a row would be good fun. I could do that with relish, if I had the time off, perhaps fitting in documentries and commentaries as well.

I think it would be cool to pick your favourite film from each of the Bond actors and do it like that. Otherwise I'd need to be in a dark room with no windows and/or anything I could hang myself with.

In college I might have dared this (however, there were a couple fewer movies at that time biggrin.gif ), but not today.

It would be interesting to see where I finally leaped off...when I started to feel my sanity going... where would it start?

I'd love to do a marathon like that, but it would be 100% impossible to find anyone willing to endure it with me. Reckon I'd be sad to do it alone? cooltongue.gif

Don't know about that. I wonder if anybody could convince someone to do it with them.

And man, I envy anybody who has the time! mad.gif
