They already announced it was taking place at Odeon Leicester Square. This seems like wishful thinking to me.

Yea it's happening in London. This is either the old rumour article dredged up again or Chester getting some publicity while they can. I live near there and nothing is happening as far as I'm aware and nothing has been in any local papers.
Chester is far too small a town to hold a James Bond film premiere anyway, not happening (though I'd LOVE it!). but the article specifically refers to 'regional premieres' These are when local C list celebs come out and visit the local cinema all dressed in their Tuxedos. I think Bond maybe unique in this regard although I maybe wrong.
They sometimes have to pay and they get a souvenier pack to go with it. There was one in Hull for Goldeneye and the cost was 25 quid..... I imagine they are trying to get DC to come to Chester for the regional premiere. Which I suppose would be his decision but also migght depend on how much media coverage an 'event' like this would garner. |

You see, as opposed to 'World' Premiere. The UK has numerous local premieres happening all over the country the day after the World Premiere. Historically, around 10 or so such events. As far as I am aware, they've had them since at least the days of Octopussy when I was in Nottingham and a very minor brochure was produced. ________________________________________________
